Eberle scored 34 goals and increased his point production in his sophomore season to just shy of a point-per-game pace. Certainly having talent on a line that included two first-overall draft picks in Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins didn't hurt, but Eberle is just as big a piece of the puzzle as the others. Eberle made improvements in all aspects of his game, and the Oilers sported one of the best power plays in the NHL to help along his numbers. The team is improving with the addition of another first overall pick in Nail Yakupov and budding defenseman Justin Schultz, so Eberle and many of the other Oilers could see their stars rise even more this season.
