| News: Backstrom (back, illness) returned to practice on Saturday and hopes to start Wednesday's game, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Spin: His illness was related to his back injury as he had headaches that were relieved by a medical procedure on Thursday (which the Wild didn't give details on). Coming back on Wednesday sounds aggressive, but he may be able to serve as the backup by then and start later in the week. |
