| News: Theodore (personal) practiced again Thursday but looks like he will get some time off, the Washington Post reports. Spin: Judging by comments by Bruce Boudreau, Jose Theodore is expected to get his mind right over the weekend. Boudreau expressed concern saying, "Everybody knows what's been going on, and sometimes you go through a rough break mentally. He wants to play so well and he wants to work hard for the team, but sometimes everything adds up, and we said, 'Take a step back for a couple days. We still think you're a great goaltender, but there's things physically you're doing everything right, but sometimes you're drained mentally.' So we want him to take a couple days, get ready, and start again." Look for Theo to get the weekend off, so make any pick-ups needed. It seems that Michal Neuvirth may get a start this weekend if you are in need of a start. |
