Markov, Schneider to miss Game 4
MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens defensemen Andrei Markov and Mathieu Schneider will miss Game 4 of the Eastern Conference playoff series against the Boston Bruins because of injuries.
Coach and general manager Bob Gainey said before Wednesday night's game that Markov is sidelined with a knee injury. Schneider has a sore shoulder and needed to leave the morning skate.
Boston leads the series 3-0.
Gainey said he would make a game-time decision about winger Alex Tanguay, who missed Game 3 with an upper body injury and did not skate Wednesday.
Bruins winger Milan Lucic will return from a one-game suspension for cross-checking Maxim Lapierre.
