|LALIME VS. BELFOUR|
Toronto Maple Leafs
He beats you... with his imposing size in the net. He has a presence about him that way. He is good down low and is very sound technically when he's patient. When he is on, pucks hit him and he makes it look easy.
You can beat him... by getting him to move laterally and opening up those long legs. He has been inconsistent this year, so putting every puck to the net will be a key.
He beats you... with great positioning. His stance and patience are dominating, while his rebound control is next to none. He is a stabilizing presence in net for the rambunctious Leafs, while his puck movement allows the "D" to go to open areas to retrieve pucks from him.
You can beat him... by making him move and fight through traffic, making it hard on his back and flexibility. You have to put pucks on net and drive hard to let him know you're coming at him.
