BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Flyers rookie center R.J. Umberger missed Game 2 of Philadelphia's Eastern Conference playoff series against Buffalo on Monday after failing a concussion-related test.

Umberger is listed as day-to-day and will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Philadelphia in preparation for Game 3 on Wednesday.

He's been out since being knocked woozy, leveled by a heavy but legal hit from Buffalo defenseman Brian Campbell during the Sabres' 3-2 double-overtime win on Saturday. Umberger's nose was bloodied and he required help from the ice.

Umberger, who complained of a stiff neck and some loss of short-term memory, took part in the team's pregame skate Monday morning and said he felt fine.

Forward Branko Radivojevic, a healthy scratch in Game 1, replaced Umberger in the lineup.

The Flyers made one other roster change, with rookie forward Ben Eager replacing veteran tough guy Donald Brashear, who had just over four minutes of ice time in Game 1.

Eager played in 25 games for the Flyers this season, with three goals and eight points.

"We feel confident in his ability," coach Ken Hitchcock said before the game. "He has the speed to get up on the attack."
