The Detroit Red Wings may have ended their losing skid, but we still don't think they trump the Dallas Stars. At least not this week.

The Wings snapped a six-game slump with a win over the Avalanche, but the Stars are 9-1-0 over their last 10 games. And that's without their top defenseman Sergei Zubov.

As always, you can weigh in and rank your 30 teams here.

Until next time, enjoy puckheads!

2007-2008 Power Rankings: Week 19
  RK (PV)   TEAM REC. COMMENT
1 (1)   Stars 37-21-5 What's up with all of these Habs castoffs flourishing in Dallas? We all know about Mike Ribeiro, but now Stephane Robidas is stepping up. He's taken up more ice time and led the power play in Sergei Zubov's absence, and the Stars are on a 10-3-0 roll.
2 (2)   Red Wings 42-15-5 The Red Wings finally snapped a six-game losing streak on Monday. Was this just about getting the season "test" out of the way before the postseason?
3 (9)   Canadiens 33-19-9 After Tuesday's historic comeback win against the Rangers, the Canadiens make the big leap this week. Montreal has won four straight, boasts the league's best power play and is fourth overall in scoring (183 goals).
4 (4)   Devils 34-21-5 Changing nameplates in the locker room is the key to success? Who knew?! The Devils are 4-0-1 since coach Brent Sutter's redecorating move on Feb. 9.
5 (5)   Penguins 34-21-5 Stop the presses! Stop the cyberwaves! Sidney's skating!
6 (6)   Senators 35-20-5 Ottawa, deadlocked atop the Northeast Division with Montreal, got a stand-up performance from Ray Emery this week vs. Philly. Have the Sens turned the corner?
7 (3)   Sharks 31-20-8 The Sharks and their fans breathed a sigh of relief after Evgeni Nabokov returned from taking a slap shot in the center of his mask. What else does this goalie have to do to show he's award-worthy?
8 (8)   Ducks 33-23-7 While Brian Burke didn't get into a cage-match fight with Oilers GM Kevin Lowe, the Ducks GM is still working the trade lines. A big-name forward, anyone?
9 (11)   Wild 34-21-5 The Wild have points in nine of their last 11 games, but coach Jacques Lemaire still isn't happy, telling the Star Tribune this after an OT loss to Vancouver on Tuesday: "It'd be easy to say, 'Well, we got a point. Everything's fine.' You've got to come out better than this."
10 (12)   Predators 32-23-7 Nashville is 3-1-1 in its past five games and Alexander Radulov has 16 points (10 goals) in his past 14 contests.
11 (7)   Flyers 30-24-6 It's been a bad week for the Flyers. While Peter Forsberg is likely not coming back to the NHL this season, Philly is in the middle of an eight-game losing streak.
12 (10)   Flames 30-22-8 Calgary is still keeping pace with Vancouver in the standings, but they have a tough week or so ahead with games against Dallas, Detroit, Minnesota, Colorado and Anaheim.
13 (17)   Canucks 30-22-8 We are still replaying the last 30 minutes of the Oilers-Canucks tilt from Saturday night in our heads. Did Sam Gagner really try to pull a wrestling move on Ryan Kesler?!
14 (16)   Coyotes 31-26-4 While we ponder Shaq and Gretzky in the same sports town, the Coyotes are still in the playoff mix out West.
15 (13)   Avalanche 30-25-5 The Avs lose some ground after their losing skid reached four games this past week, but with Joe Sakic and Paul Stastny expected back soon, things could be looking up.
16 (20)   Bruins 30-23-6 The Bruins have to be one of the better stories this season. With a major list of injuries, including Patrice Bergeron, Boston is still in the playoff hunt.
17 (14)   Rangers 30-24-8 Does a team that gives up a 5-0 lead only to lose in a shootout deserve to be in the playoffs? We keep wondering when it will all come together for the Blueshirts this season.
18 (15)   Sabres 28-23-8 The Sabres drop a few spots after losing two straight and being outscored 9-2 over that span. Still, Buffalo is in the playoff mix.
19 (18)   Capitals 28-26-6 Will the Tomas Fleischmann-to-the-top-line experiment work? So far, it's been decent. He has two goals and an assist in two games since joining Alexander Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom.
20 (22)   Blues 28-22-9 The Blues have won four of their last five games as they head out on a three-game West Coast swing.
21 (23)   Islanders 28-25-7 The Islanders have won four straight games after a 1-8-1 stretch.
22 (19)   Hurricanes 30-28-5 Will the Hurricanes be able to overcome losing captain Rod Brind'Amour, who is out for likely the rest of the season with a torn ACL?
23 (21)   Blue Jackets 27-26-9 Will this be the last week fans see Sergei Fedorov in a Blue Jackets jersey?
24 (24)   Thrashers 29-28-4 This will likely be the last week fans see Marian Hossa in a Thrashers sweater.
25 (25)   Panthers 27-29-6 A 2-4-1 stretch won't help get the Panthers firmly back into the Southeast Division race.
26 (27)   Blackhawks 27-26-6 As of Wednesday morning, the Blackhawks are technically just eight points out of a playoff spot in the West. CRAY-ZEE.
27 (26)   Oilers 27-29-5 The Oilers are 4-2-0 over their last six, but lost two chances this week of hitting the .500 mark. But their young core of players is at least hopeful for the future.
28 (28)   Lightning 25-28-6 Don Boyle? Brad Richards? Martin St. Louis? Which one will be traded by the Lightning?
29 (30)   Maple Leafs 25-27-9 Two straight wins pull the Maple Leafs out of the basement, but we're getting a little tired of the Sundin-Gate drama.
30 (29)   Kings 25-34-3 Pau Gasol made his debut! Oh, wait, that was with the Lakers. Never mind.
