TAMPA, Florida (Ticker) -- Dave Andreychuk and the Tampa Bay Lightning will look to ride some momentum following a spirited victory into Friday's home game against the Washington Capitals.

Andreychuk scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, as the Lightning netted four unanswered tallies en route to a 6-3 win over the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday.

Brad Richards supplied three assists for Tampa Bay, which has dropped its last three home contests.

Despite netting just eight power-play goals this year, the Lightning have killed off over 96 percent of shorthanded situations - the best mark in the league.

Those numbers do not bode well for a Capitals squad that has scored just 23 goals this year, second fewest in the league.

Washington posted a 3-2 win over Buffalo on Wednesday behind defenseman Jamie Heward's power-play tally. The Capitals allowed only 17 shots in the triumph.
