PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Trent Hunter and the New York Islanders hope to exact a measure of revenge against the Pittsburgh Penguins when the teams face off at Mellon Arena on Monday.

Hunter scored the game-winning goal in the third period Saturday as the Islanders rallied for a 5-2 triumph over the Boston Bruins.

New York now looks to avenge a 5-1 home loss to Pittsburgh back on November 3.

Rookie phenom Sidney Crosby tallied twice and Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux registered three assists in the four-goal victory for the Penguins, who have gone 5-4-0 after opening the campaign on a nine-game winless skid.

Pittsburgh hopes to bounce back from a 6-1 drubbing at the hands of the New York Rangers on Saturday.

Mark Recchi registered the lone tally for the Penguins, who went scoreless in their six power-plays attempts in the contest.
