DETROIT (Ticker) -- In 11 seasons, Darren McCarty helped the Detroit Red Wings win three Stanley Cup championships. Now he must find out where the visitor's dressing room is.

McCarty plays against his former team in Detroit for the first time Sunday when the Calgary Flames visit the undefeated Red Wings.

A 33-year old right wing, McCarty played 800 games in a Detroit uniform before signing with the Flames on August 2. His best season was 1996-1997, when he scored 19 goals and added 30 assists to help the Red Wings win the first of consecutive Stanley Cup titles.

McCarty scored his first goal for Calgary in Friday's 3-1 triumph over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Daymond Langkow and Shean Donovan also scored for the Flames, who rebounded after an opening night loss to Minnesota.

Detroit won its first two games over the St. Louis Blues, outscoring them 9-4, and is one of five teams who are 2-0 or better in the opening days of the season.

Robert Lang had a goal and an assist and Jason Williams added three assists to lead the Red Wings to a 4-3 victory over the Blues on Thursday.

Calgary lost three of four regular season meetings against Detroit in 2003-2004 before getting even in the playoffs by ousting the Red Wings in six games in the second round.

Detroit is 31-18-10 at home against Calgary.
