SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- The San Jose Sharks will look to even their record for the first time in over two weeks when they host the reeling Florida Panthers on Thursday.

The Sharks have had a losing record since dropping a 3-2 decision to the Calgary Flames on November 23.

However, San Jose has enjoyed an offensive revival since the acquisition of star center Joe Thornton. With Thornton in the lineup, the Sharks have won three in a row, scoring goals in the process.

Thornton, who came to San Jose via a blockbuster deal with the Boston Bruins on November 30, has scored one goal and six points in his three games with the Sharks.

San Jose hopes to carry some offensive momentum into Thursday's matchup with a Florida squad which has dropped a club-record 10 consecutive road decisions.

The Panthers erased an early three-goal deficit on Wednesday only to lose, 4-3, to the Dallas Stars on Jere Lehtinen's power-play tally with 15 seconds remaining.
