COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- In order to complete a perfect road trip, the New York Islanders will have to solve the Columbus Blue Jackets when the teams meet Thursday.

The Islanders are 0-5-1 all-time against the Blue Jackets but carry some momentum into the contest after winning the first two legs of their three-game swing.

Mike York had two goals and three assists in New York's 6-3 win over St. Louis on Tuesday, two days after the 27-year-old left wing scored the game-winner in a 2-1 triumph over Western Conference-leading Detroit.

York had three goals and nine assists through the first two months before breaking out. He was helped out Tuesday by Mark Parrish, who scored twice.

The Blue Jackets have had a week to digest a 4-1 loss to St. Louis, a decision that capped a 1-2-0 road trip.

Jaroslav Balastik pulled Columbus into a 1-1 tie with a power-play goal in the second period, but the Blues scored three unanswered tallies against rookie Pascal Leclaire, who fell to 1-5-0.
