NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) - One of the dominant home teams in the league in the early-going, the Nashville Predators will take aim at their first victory at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in nearly a month when they host the New York Islanders on Tuesday.

The Predators have lost their last two here for the first time this season and, due to a heavy dose of road games of late, have not tasted victory at home since a 3-2 triumph over Colorado on December 20.

However, they have enjoyed recent success on the road, claiming a 5-1 victory at Chicago on Sunday.

Yanic Perreault scored twice and Steve Sullivan had a tally and an assist as Nashville recorded its best scoring output in eight games.

The club was bolstered by the return of right wing Scott Walker, who had missed the last 33 games with a sports hernia. Walker was the Predators' second-leading scorer in 2003-04 with 25 goals and 42 assists.

The Islanders limp into the contest with losses in seven of their last eight games. They have scored just two goals in three setbacks this month and were shut out for the second time this season with Saturday's 3-0 setback against Carolina.

Wade Dubielewicz surrendered all three goals in just over a six-minute span of the second period and New York's meager attack was no match.
