Detroit (51-15-8) at Calgary (42-24-8) 9:00 pm EDT
CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- Captain Steve Yzerman and the Detroit Red Wings have enjoyed a magical season. They hope to continue rewriting the record books when they visit the Calgary Flames on Monday.
The Red Wings have won a franchise-record 27 road contests this season, one shy of the NHL record set by the New Jersey Devils in 1998-99.
After a 3-2 triumph at Minnesota on Sunday, Detroit also matched a franchise record with its eighth consecutive road victory.
Yzerman registered two assists to extend his season-high points streak to eight games while Henrik Zetterberg netted his team-leading 36th goal for the Red Wings, who clinched their fifth consecutive Central Division title.
The Flames have won four straight and own a four-point lead over the second-place Colorado Avalanche (40-26-8) in the Northwest Division.
Kristian Huselius tallied twice and Daymond Langkow added a goal and an assist as Calgary skated to a 4-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.
