Anaheim won its fifth game in six contests and clinched its
first playoff spot in three years by jumping to a four-goal lead
in Monday's 4-2 victory over Vancouver.
Scott and Rob Niedermayer scored in the opening period and Teemu
Selanne added his 39th goal for the Mighty Ducks, who are two
points behind Nashville for fourth place in the West and
home-ice advantage in the opening round of the playoffs.
Anaheim has won the two previous matchups against Calgary this
season, including a 3-1 victory on February 8. The teams
close the regular season against each other Monday.
