ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- While Jean-Sebastien Giguere has not resembled the goaltender that led the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim to the Stanley Cup finals in 2003, the Calgary Flames certainly deserve a lot of the credit for that.

Giguere will try to help the Mighty Ducks even their best-of-seven quarterfinal series with the Flames when the teams meet in Game Four on Thursday.

The 2003 Conn Smythe Trophy winner, Giguere missed Anaheim's Game One loss with a lower-body injury. Since returning, Giguere is 1-1 in the series but has allowed eight goals in the two games, including several soft goals in Tuesday's 5-2 defeat.

Kristian Huselius collected a goal and two assists and defenseman Robyn Regehr netted a tally and set up another for the third-seeded Flames, who went 3-for-7 with the man advantage.

Rookie defenseman Francois Beauchemin scored both goals for the sixth-seeded Mighty Ducks, who went 2-for-9 on the power play but still managed four goals or fewer for the 10th straight game.

A big reason, however, is the play of Miikka Kiprusoff, who himself has not allowed more than three tallies in an astonishing 39 of his last 40 games. The Finland native rebounded from a 4-3 setback in Game Two - the lone exception to his hot stretch - to make 29 saves in Tuesday's triumph.

The series returns to Calgary for Game Five on Saturday.
