TAMPA, Florida (Ticker) -- The Carolina Hurricanes have struggled in Tampa Bay. On Monday, they look to turn it around.

The Hurricanes look to avoid their fifth straight loss on the Lightning's home ice when the two teams face off in the fifth game of a seven-game road trip for Carolina.

The Hurricanes have been known as a quality road team after winning several key contests away from home en route to the franchise's first Stanley Cup championship last season.

However, Carolina was 0-2-2 at the St. Pete Times Forum in 2005-06 and have won only three times in their last 14 games at Tampa Bay.

Scott Walker tallied twice as the Hurricanes rolled to an easy 5-1 triumph over the Pittsburgh Penguins in their last contest on Saturday.

It was the second victory in as many nights for Carolina, who opened the campaign with four consecutive losses.

Martin St. Louis snapped a second-period tie and Ruslan Fedotenko added a goal and an assist as the Lightning ended a three-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Florida Panthers on Saturday.
