WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The Tampa Bay Lighting look to escape the cellar of the Southeast division Saturday when they take on the Washington Capitals.

The Lightning had lost four of their last five games before handling Philadelphia 4-1 on Thursday.

It was only the second time Tampa Bay has scored four goals or more in a game. The Lighting have had trouble on the power play, converting just 3-of-39 this season.

The Lightning's record would be worse if not for the outstanding goaltending by Marc Denis. The nine-year veteran has allowed only a goal in each of his last four starts. However the netminder has struggled recently vs. Washington, earning a tie and three losses in his last four starts against the division rivals.

The Capitals have had their own problems, losing three out of four including a 4-3 overtime loss at Atlanta on Thursday.

Tampa Bay went 4-2-2 against Washington last season but will probably face veteran goaltender Olaf Kolzig, who sat out the loss to the Thrashers two nights ago.

The 15-year veteran netminder is 12-4-1 with a 2.20 GAA at home verses the Lightning and is 20-9-1 lifetime against Tampa Bay. The 2000 Vezina Trophy winner went 2-0-1 with a 1.89 GAA in three home games vs the Lightning last season.
