DALLAS (Ticker) -- After absorbing just their second loss of the season Friday, the Dallas Stars will look to bounce back against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

The Stars had won three consecutive games before dropping a 4-3 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Friday. Mike Modano had two goals, but Marty Turco surrendered four goals on 33 shots.

Dallas had given up just five goals during their winning streak.

With a win against the Kings, Turco will move into a tie with Cesare Maniago for the second-most victories in franchise history (145).

The Kings have lost four in a row, including a 2-0 setback against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday. Los Angeles outshot Columbus, 38-14, in the loss.

Los Angeles was 0-for-8 on the power play and are 9-for-91 (9.9 percent) on the season, trailing only Philadelphia in conversion percentage.
