CHICAGO (Ticker) - Right wing Martin Havlat may play for the first time since late October when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday.

Havlat, who suffered a sprained ankle at Dallas on October 20, traveled to Minnesota and practiced with the team on Tuesday but did not play in the 3-2 shootout loss to the Wild later that night.

The shootout was tied, 2-2, before Nikolai Khabibulin was beaten inside the right goalpost in the sixth round.

Chicago has won three of its last four games but would welcome the explosive Havlat back into the lineup. Acquired in a three-team trade in the offseason, Havlat had seven goals and 13 points to lead the league before getting hurt.

Curtis Joseph made 14 saves for the Coyotes in a 3-0 loss to Dallas on Wednesday. The blanking also stretched Phoenix's futility against the Stars to more than 196 minutes.

The Coyotes are 3-1-3 in their last seven contests here.
