NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Jaromir Jagr and the New York Rangers go for their third straight win when they host the Florida Panthers on Sunday.

Jagr, whose 41 points is tied for the league lead with Atlanta's Marian Hossa, scored his 14th goal to help lead the Rangers to a 3-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

While Jagr has been the biggest story this season along with Brendan Shanahan, goaltender Henrik Lundqvist started in Saturday's win. Lundqvist finished with 34 saves as the Rangers beat the Senators for only the third time in the last 13 meetings between the clubs.

Martin Straka had a goal and an assist for the Rangers while Shanahan netted his league-leading 22nd goal into an empty net with 14 seconds left. As consistent as Jagr has been this season, Straka has been lately. The center has seven goals and nine assists in a nine-game point streak.

Florida had its two-game win streak snapped in a 5-4 shootout loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday.

Nathan Horton, Gary Roberts, Stephen Weiss and Ruslan Salei scored for the panthers in regulation.

The Panthers, who went 1-for-4 on the power play, outshot the Islanders, 7-0, in the overtime but could not beat New York goaltender Rick DiPietro.
