The Calgary Flames put their six-game winning streak on the line Sunday when they try for a rare road win against the Anaheim Ducks.

Calgary hasn't won at Anaheim's Honda Center since the 2006 playoffs and has lost seven straight regular-season games there.

The Flames (7-3-1), though, enter as one of the NHL's hottest teams, although they blew a two-goal lead Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings.

Los Angeles' Oscar Moller scored a tying goal with less than six minutes remaining, but the Flames' Daymond Langkow responded at the 16:23 mark with the game-winner in a 3-2 victory.

Calgary has won six straight for the first time since Nov. 7-17, 2006. It hasn't won seven in a row since a run of eight consecutive victories from Nov. 1-16, 2005.

The Flames have played stingy defense during their win streak, giving up nine goals compared with 22 goals surrendered during their 1-3-1 start.

"We had a great preseason, and then we didn't get off on the right foot," center Wayne Primeau said. "I think the guys are starting to buy into it. And when you've get everybody on the same page. It's a lot easier out there."

Miikka Kiprusoff has started all 11 games and has improved his goals-against average from 4.37 to 2.81 over his last six starts. On the road versus the Ducks, he has lost seven of nine starts while giving up 24 goals.

Anaheim went 3-1 against Calgary last season, as star winger Jarome Iginla was held without a goal in all three losses for the Flames. Calgary also surrendered seven goals in 18 power-play opportunities in the season series.

The Ducks (6-5-1), meanwhile, had their five-game winning streak snapped Friday in the 13th round of a shootout, 7-6 to the Vancouver Canucks.

Anaheim rallied from a three-goal deficit in the second period with three goals in a two-minute span to tie the game. After Vancouver scored at the 8:34 mark in the third, Corey Perry sent it into overtime on a shot with 57 seconds left, but the Ducks faltered in the lengthy shootout.

"It was a weird game, it seemed like every puck went in somehow," said goalie Jonas Hiller, who replaced Ducks starter Jean-Sebastien Giguere in the second period after the Canucks scored four straight goals. "There were lots of goals and penalty shots. It took forever. That is probably one of the few games you'll have (like that) in your career. It's sad to lose it at the end."

Giguere has a 10-2-2 record against Calgary at home with a 2.33 GAA, while Hiller has never faced the Flames.

Anaheim, which started 1-5, has turned around its season by scoring 27 goals in its last six games after scoring 13 in the first six. The Ducks have also scored 10 power-play goals in 28 chances over the last six games.

Teemu Selanne, who leads the Ducks with eight goals, has scored seven in the last four games.
