EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- Rickard Wallin scored on a rebound 2:12 into overtime Saturday night to give the Minnesota Wild a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

Edmonton's Tony Salmelainen had tied the score with 1:10 left in regulation.

Kyle Wanvig and Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored second-period goals for the Wild (3-3-0-0) while Raffi Torres had the other goal for the Oilers (1-1-1-1) in an exhibition game that was wide open for two defensive-minded teams.

On Salmelainen's goal, he cut to the net at a tight angle and beat Dwayne Roloson far side with a high backhand for his first goal of the preseason goal.

Wallin won it when he put in a rebound of a shot by Richard Park.

Ty Conklin, who has already locked up the backup goalie slot behind Edmonton's Tommy Salo, stopped all 13 shots he faced in the first period.
