SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Joffrey Lupul and Ryan Getzlaf each scored a goal in the third period as the Anaheim Mighty Ducks defeated the San Jose Sharks 2-1 Saturday night to run their unbeaten streak in exhibition games to four.

Lupul took a pass from Vinny Prospal and slid it past Sharks goalie Evgeni Nabokov as the Ducks broke a scoreless tied with 9:12 remaining in the third. It was Lupul's second goal of the preseason for the Ducks (3-1-1).

Getzlaf scored five minutes later hen his wrist shot beat Nabokov on a wraparound for his second goal.

San Jose (1-4-0) got its only goal of the night 6 seconds later when Scott Thornton scored on a wraparound as Mike Ricci distracted Ducks goalie Martin Gerber.

Gerber made 29 saves and Nabokov stopped 16 shots.
