ST JOHN'S, Newfoundland (Ticker) -- Daniel Alfredsson scored a
power-play goal and set up another as the Ottawa Senators posted
their second preseason victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs in
as many nights, 5-1, in a fight-filled game.

Alfredsson opened the scoring with 3:46 to go in the first
period and Alexandre Giroux made it 2-0 just 79 seconds later.
Alfredsson also picked up an assist on Todd White's power-play
tally with 67 seconds to go in the second.

Defenseman Chris Phillips and Petr Schastlivy had the other
goals for the Senators, who improved to 4-0-0 in the preseason.

Alexander Mogilny scored the lone goal in the second period for
Toronto, which was outshot, 40-13.

Referees Chris Lee and Tim Peel handed out 38 penalties totaling
114 minutes. Brad Leeb, Wade Brookbank, Chris Neil, Andy
Hedlund and Serge Payer of Ottawa received fighting majors along
with Nathan Perrott, Wade Belak, Darcy Tucker, Robb Palahnuk
and Bryan Marchment of Toronto.
