Vancouver 5, Calgary 3

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- Todd Bertuzzi's second goal
of the game with 8:03 left gave the Vancouver Canucks a 5-3
exhibition victory over the Calgary Flames on Saturday night.

Jarkko Ruutu, Henrik Sedin and Jason King, who had an
empty-netter, also scored as the Canucks (3-3-0) snapped a
three-game losing streak

Johan Hedberg stopped 20 shots in his first start for Vancouver
since being acquired from Pittsburgh in an offseason trade. Hedberg
hadn't played since he was cut above his right knee by a skate and
needed nine stitches 11 days ago.

Matthew Lombardi, Robert Dome and Martin Gelinas scored for the
Flames (3-1-1), who lost despite outshooting the Canucks 23-12. It
was the fourth straight game Vancouver failed to record 20 shots.

Lombardi opened the scoring 5:39 into the first, but Bertuzzi
tied it on the power play just over a minute later.

Ruutu banged in a power play rebound midway through the first
period and Sedin tipped in Ed Jovanovski's point shot just 25
seconds into the second.

Dome scored from close range at 6:04, and Gelinas tied it 11:55.
