PORTLAND, Maine (AP) -- Colby Armstrong and Kris Beech each
scored a goal and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27 shots to lead the
Pittsburgh Penguins to a 2-1 preseason victory over the Washington
Capitals on Saturday night.

Armstrong put Pittsburgh up 1-0 with a short-handed goal 42
seconds into the third period.

Beech scored from the left circle 6:13 into the period, drilling
the puck past goalie Olaf Kolzig, who was making his first start of
the preseason. Aleksey Morozov and Reid Simpson both assisted on
the play.

Jeff Halpern scored Washington's lone goal with 2:39 left.
Jaromir Jagr and Brenden Witt both assisted on Halpern's goal.
