"I want to make it miserable for everybody else and hopefully
knock them out of the playoffs," Tkachuk said. "It's sour grapes,
but that's the way you have to approach it."
"We can play the spoiler," Sanford said. "We're going to play

Chris Pronger and Marc-Andre Bergeron scored for Edmonton, which
outshoot the Blues 37-12. The Oilers have lost four straight to
drop to eighth in the Eastern Conference.
The Oilers were pressing for the tying goal when Young scored
with 1:29 left to put the game out of reach.
Tkachuk opened the scoring at 6:16 of the first period, skating

McClement, a 22-year-old rookie, made it 3-0 with a power-play
goal with 2:55 left in the second.
Pronger finally solved Sanford with 1:22 left in the second on a
5-on-3 power play. The former St. Louis star's shot found its way
through a crowd to make it 3-1 and give the Oilers a chance heading
to the third.
Bergeron made it 3-2 at 3:41 of the third.
Oilers goalie Mike Morrison played the third period, allowing
one goal on two shots.
"I'm embarrassed for all of us," Morrison said. "It's tough
