Bonk, Ryder net pair each as Canadiens rout Leafs

TORONTO (AP) -- The Maple Leafs got goals from five players in a
5-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Friday night.

John Pohl, Darcy Tucker, Mats Sundin, Aleksander Suglobov and
Alexei Ponikarovsky scored for Toronto (2-1). Jean-Sebastien Aubin
was sharp in stopping 22 shots.

Jann Danis allowed three goals before Jaroslav Halak took over
for the Canadiens after 30 minutes. Jonathan Ferland scored for
Montreal (0-3).

Toronto outshot Montreal 27-23. The Maple Leafs were 2-for-8 and
the Canadiens 0-for-5 on power plays.
