ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- Dustin Penner had two goals and an assist
to lead the Anaheim Ducks past the San Jose Sharks 6-3 in a
preseason game Wednesday night.

Todd Marchant added a goal and two assists, and Jean
Sebastien-Giguere made 10 saves before rookie Michael Wall took
over at 10:25 of the second period.

Penner began the scoring with a wrist shot on a 2-on-0 rush at
9:22 of the second period. Anaheim then added four goals in 3:39.

Penner converted another wrist shot at 13:03, Corey Perry scored
seconds later on a slap shot and Teemu Selanne added a power-play
goal at 14:43. Marchant ended the spree by converting Penner's pass
at 16:42.

Stanislav Chistov also scored for the Ducks.

Milan Michalek, Patrick Marleau and Garrett Stafford scored for
San Jose.

The Sharks' Joe Thornton and Jonathan Cheechoo did not dress for
the game.

Chris Pronger, who was traded July 3 after leading the Edmonton
Oilers to the Stanley Cup finals, played just more than 21 minutes
in his exhibition debut for the Ducks.
