LONDON, Ontario (AP) -- John LeClair scored a power-play goal with 4:30 to play and Jocelyn Thibault made 18 saves to help the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in exhibition play Sunday night at John Labatt Centre.
Pittsburgh's Ryan Stone opened the scoring at 5:24 of the second period, and Philadelphia's Geoff Sanderson tied it on a power play with 3:19 left in the period.
Rookie Martin Houle made 10 saves for the Flyers (1-3-0).
Pittsburgh improved to 2-1-2 in the preseason.
