HERSHEY, Pa. (AP) -- Martin Brodeur stopped all 13 shots he faced
in a period and a half and the New Jersey Devils scored three
special-teams goals in a 3-1 exhibition victory over the Washington
Capitals on Sunday night at Giant Center.
David Clarkson and Zach Parise had power-play goals for the
Devils (2-3-0) and Olli Malmivaara added a short-handed goal. Scott
Clemmensen made 20 saves in relief of Brodeur, allowing only Ben
Clymer's goal late in the third period.
Olaf Kolzig stopped 15 shots for the Capitals (1-1-1).
New Jersey was 2-for-5 on the power-play and Washington was
