TRURO, Nova Scotia (AP) -- Chris Higgins and Guillaume Latendresse each scored twice Monday night in the Canadiens' 7-3 pounding of the Ottawa Senators that gave Montreal its first preseason win in five games.

Andrei Kostitsyn, Jonathan Ferland and Kyle Chipchura also scored for Montreal (1-4-0).

Jason Spezza scored twice and Dany Heatley once for Ottawa (3-3-0).
