TORONTO (AP) -- Mike Fisher scored a goal and had three assists
to help the Ottawa Senators beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-3 in a
preseason game Wednesday night.
Chris Neil, Daniel Alfredsson, Peter Schaefer and Dean McAmmond
also scored for the Senators, who tallied the first three goals of
Aleksander Suglovob, Bryan McCabe and Matt Stajan had goals for
the Maple Leafs.
McAmmond scored a breakaway goal with 4:33 left in the third to
make it 5-3.
Mikael Tellqvist allowed five goals on 31 shots in what might
have been his last game for Toronto. The Maple Leafs are expected
to enter the season with Andrew Raycroft and Jean-Sebastien Aubin
as their goalies.
Toronto's Brad Brown bloodied Ottawa's Brian McGratton in a
fight in the first. Neil and Hal Gill tussled in the second.
The Senators received a minor penalty in the first for starting
a player that wasn't on the lineup card given to the officials
before the game.
