VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- Brad Isbister scored on a 2-on-1 break with 2.5 seconds left, snapping a low shot over Mathieu Garon's blocker to lift the Vancouver Canucks to a 5-4 preseason win over the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night.

Ethan Moreau scored five minutes into the third period and Ales Hemsky tied it with 3:22 left as the Oilers rallied from a two-goal deficit. Edmonton failed to capitalize on a late penalty to Patrick Coulombe, who skated out of the box and into the odd-man rush with Isbister.

Ryan Kesler had a goal and two assists, and Mason Raymond, Daniel Sedin and Brad Moran also scored for the Canucks (2-0-1).

Prize free agent addition Sheldon Souray scored in his Oilers debut. Tom Gilbert also scored on the power play for Edmonton (2-1-0).
