CALGARY, Alberta -- David Moss scored twice in the third period Friday night to lead the Calgary Flames to an 8-2 preseason victory over the Florida Panthers.

Moss, who had just four goals in 41 NHL games last season, had two of the Flames' five goals in the final period as they blew open a close game.

Calgary got goals four offseason acquisitions: Mike Cammalleri, who had his second goal in as many games, and Todd Bertuzzi, Rene Bourque and Curtis Glencross.

Keith Primeau and Cory Sarich also scored for Calgary (3-1).

Second-year forward Dustin Boyd added two assists to continue his stellar preseason, running his point total to six -- one goal -- through three games.

Velle Peltonen and Mike Duco scored for Florida (2-1-1).

Miikka Kiprusoff played the first half of the game and got the victory, stopping 11 of 13 shots. Vokoun faced 43 shots in going the distance for Florida.
