Bergman tests positive for hormone
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Cyclist Adam Bergman of Lino Lakes, Minn., has been suspended for testing positive during an out of competition screening for a hormone that increases aerobic power.
Bergman, 23, tested positive April 6 for erythropoietin, which stimulates the body's production of red blood cells, U.S. Anti-Doping Agency officials said Wednesday.
Under the terms of the suspension, Bergman agreed not to compete
in any events under the jurisdiction of Union Cycliste
