Kraushaar extends streak
SIGULDA, Latvia -- World champion Silke Kraushaar captured the women's World Cup luge singles Saturday, extending Germany's winning streak to 50 races.
The U.S. team of Mark Grimmette and Brian Martin finished third in men doubles, timed in 1 minute, 26.704 seconds. Germany's Andr De Florschutz and Torsten Wustlich won in 1:26.539 and Italy's Christian Oberstolz and Patric Gruber were second in 1:26.607.
