World juniors MVP makes senior-level debut

VIENNA, Austria -- Forward Zach Parise was added to the United States roster at the world ice hockey championship on Wednesday.

Parise, 20, was drafted 17th overall by the New Jersey Devils in 2003 and played this season for the Albany River Rats in the American Hockey League. In his professional debut, Parise finished second on the team in scoring with 58 points (18-40) in 73 games.
