Malysz wins second ski jumping event in two days
TITISEE-NEUSTADT, Germany -- Adam Malysz of Poland used a strong second leap Sunday to win his second World Cup ski jumping event in two days.
After tying the hill record with a leap of 145.0 meters Saturday, Malysz jumped 134.5 on his second attempt Sunday to win his 32nd World Cup meet with 257.7 points.
Austrian teenager Gregor Schlierenzauer ended his slump by finishing second with 245.7 points, while Dmitri Vassilyev of Russia was third with 242.4.
