Poiree wins third straight World Cup biathlon race
LAHTI, Finland -- Raphael Poiree shot clean and won the men's 12.5-kilometer pursuit race Sunday for his third straight World Cup biathlon victory.
The 32-year-old Frenchman, who will retire at the end of this season, finished in 31 minutes, 3.79 seconds for his 43rd career World Cup win. He also won the 20K and 10K events in Lahti.
Martina Glagow took the women's 10K pursuit in 28:48.70 with one miss, leading a German sweep of the top four places.
