Greenwald named speedskating director

KEARNS, Utah -- Two-time Olympian Mark Greenwald has agreed to become the executive director of US Speedskating.

Greenwald replaces Bob Crowley, who resigned two weeks after the Americans fell short of medal goals and expectations at the Vancouver Olympics.

US Speedskating president Brad Goskowicz says in Tuesday's release that Greenwald's experience as an athlete and executive at the Calgary Olympic Oval made him the top choice to rebuild the American long track program and continue ...
