AP source: Amateur boxing head eyes IOC presidency

LONDON -- Amateur boxing association chief C.K. Wu of Taiwan is entering the race for president of the International Olympic Committee.

Wu notified Jacques Rogge on Friday that he will be a candidate to succeed him as head of the IOC, an official with knowledge of the decision told The Associated Press. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because Wu hasn't officially announced his decision yet.
