Police, race organizers outline Atlanta 10K safety
ATLANTA -- Police say nearly every section of Atlanta's Peachtree Road Race will be watched by surveillance cameras and officers from multiple agencies next week.
Police Chief George Turner said Thursday that law enforcement and race organizers consulted with Boston Marathon officials and organizers of a Colorado race to incorporate their security suggestions.
