LONDON -- Britain took three more gold medals on the final day of a World Cup cycling meet on Sunday, completing a dominating performance in which it won 14 of 17 golds in the first track event since the Olympics.

Victoria Pendleton took her third gold with victory in the women's keirin, crossing the line in front of Dina Maria Garcia Orrego of Colombia and Gong Jinjie of China.

Lizzie Armitstead also earned her third gold when she partnered with Joanna Rowsell and Katie Colclough to win the women's 3,000-meter team pursuit by defeating Germany in the final. Ukraine took bronze.

Jason Kenny took his third medal of the competition in Manchester, partnering with Ross Edgar and Jamie Staff to win the team sprint. The trio beat Poland in the final. Germany took third.

Kenny and Staff had teamed with Chris Hoy to win Olympic gold in the event in Beijing.

Britain's only failure on Sunday came in the madison, where world champion Bradley Wiggins missed out on the medals, as he did at the Olympics.

Racing with Geraint Thomas, Wiggins was unable to make up a lap on his opponents, leaving the German pair of Olaf Pollack and Roger Kluge to take victory, ahead of Belgium and Russia. Wiggins and Thomas finished fifth.

The next of the five World Cup meets takes place in Melbourne, Australia, on Nov. 20-22.
