Hartford to host nationals
HARTFORD, Conn. -- Hartford will host the 2010 USA Gymnastics national championships.
Connecticut Gov. Jodi Rell made the announcement Wednesday along with Steve Penny, the president and chief executive of USA Gymnastics, and gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi.
They say about 25,000 people are expected to attend the event, which will be held Aug. 11-14, 2010, at Hartford's XL Center and at the University of Hartford.
