Kotzian, Schmalfuss win synchronized event
ROSTOCK, Germany -- Luo Yutong of China won the men's 10-meter tower event at the World Cup on Sunday.
Luo, No. 2 to China's Olympic champion Liang Tian, scored 528.21 points and easily beat Heiko Meyer of Germany and Leon Taylor of Britain.
Germany's Ditte Kotzian and Conny Schmalfuss won the women's 3-meter synchronized platform for the third straight year, and Germans Tobais Schellenberg and Andreas Wels won the men's title.
Kotzian and Schmalfuss received 311.40 points, with China's Xinyi Yao and Yuting Yang at 298.02. Russians Natalya Umyskova and Anna Looze were third.
Schellenberg and Wels totaled 342.33 points to edge Qiang Huang and Jiaming Chen of China.
