Heather Moyse awaiting return
TORONTO -- Olympic champion bobsledder Heather Moyse of Canada is uncertain when she'll return to the World Cup circuit after injuring her ankle last month at the Women's Rugby World Cup.
The dual-sport athlete was on crutches Tuesday during a promotional event for Canada's bobsled and skeleton teams.
Moyse ruptured ligaments in her right ankle in the rugby tournament final. She hopes to be back for the bobsled World Cup season opener on Nov. 22-28 in Whistler, British Columbia.
On that track last winter, Moyse and Kaillie Humphries won Canada's first Olympic gold medal in women's bobsled.
