BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. -- Olympians Louie Vito and Queralt Castellet won the snowboard superpipe finals Saturday in the Winter Dew Tour's Nike 6.0 Open.
Vito, from Bellefontaine, Ohio, took the men's title with 90.25 points. Matt Ladley, from Steamboat Springs, was second at 75.00. Castellet, from Spain, won the women's event at 85.25. Elena Hight of Lake Tahoe, Calif., was second at 80.50, followed by defending Dew Cup champion Kaitlyn Farrington of Sun Valley, Idaho, at 74.25.
In the freeski superpipe finals, Simon Dumont of Bethel, Maine, won the men's event, and Canada's Dania Assaly topped the women's competition. Dumont finished with 94.50 points to edge Canada's Justin Dorey (91.25), while Assaly had 91.25 points to easily beat Switzerland's Mirjam Jaeger (83.00).
