Super-G originally slated for Aspen to be held in Cortina
OBERHOFEN, Switzerland -- A women's super-G race has been rescheduled for Jan. 18 in the Italian resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The race was originally scheduled to take place Dec. 8 in Aspen, Colo., but was canceled when organizers instead staged a downhill that had been delayed a day by heavy snow.
Skiing's governing body FIS said a downhill on Jan. 19 and another super-G the next day in Cortina d'Ampezzo will still be held as originally scheduled.
